RAW ALMOND BUTTER SNICKERS SLICE

WHAT YOU'LL NEED
Base
1/2 cup dates
1/2 cup oat flour
1/2 cup ground almonds
1/4 cup
Fix & Fogg Almond Butter
3 tbsp maple syrup
3 tbsp coconut oil
Filling
3/4 cup
Fix & Fogg Almond Butter
3 tbsp coconut oil, melted
1 cup dates (soaked in hot water for 10 mins)
Topping
150g dark chocolate, melted
1 tbsp maple syrup

METHOD
Line a square or rectangular tin (approx. 20cm x 20cm) with baking paper.
Place all of the base ingredients into a food processor and blend until everything is combined and comes together into a dough consistency.
Press the dough into the tin evenly and put into the fridge to set.
Meanwhile, make the filling. Drain the dates and add into your food processor with the other ingredients. Blend until smooth.
Spread the filling over the base evenly.
Mix together the melted chocolate and maple syrup and pour over the filling.
Move the tin around to spread the chocolate and give it a few taps on the bench to level out the chocolate layer.
Leave to set in the fridge for at least 2 hours before slicing and serving (we recommend using a hot sharp metal knife).
Store in the fridge in an airtight container for up to 5 days (or the freezer- for a few months!)
